My Story
I’m Paul Wooldridge a Birmingham based writer, poet, podcaster, and printmaker who has written traditional ghost stories and unnerving short fiction, as well as articles on the subject of horror cinema for the likes of Moving Pictures Film Club, Grimoire of Horror, NightTide Magazine and Absolutely F****** Horrifying . Paul has also presented at Cine-Excess Horror Film Festival, and edits and hosts The Yammityville Horror Podcast.
Paul also creates and sells individual pieces of hand-carved lino art, via PWPrintstudio.
Paul is currently planning his first long form novel, a tale recounting the comedic horrors of a hapless 2010’s Stag Do that becomes prey for a revenant Gamekeeper from the Blackgoat Estate.
A copy of Paul’s traditional ghost Story “The Isolophile”, which has been likened to H P Lovecraft and Algernon Blackwood, can be purchased here.
You can read examples of Paul’s reviews and analysis here.
